NFL Gameday Recap

Jacksonville Jaguars 31, New Orleans Saints 24

Trevor Lawrence, despite a knee injury concern, showcased his versatility by leading the Jaguars in rushing yards with 59 from eight carries. He also threw for 204 yards and a touchdown, proving his mettle in the game.

Baltimore Ravens 38, Detroit Lions 6

The Ravens' defense was relentless, making Lions' quarterback Goff uncomfortable throughout the game. Kyle Van Noy stood out with two sacks, while Odafe Oweh added a sack and forced a fumble.

New England Patriots 29, Buffalo Bills 25

To be honest, I don’t know what happened with this game…

Atlanta Falcons 16, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13

Mike Evans was the star for the Buccaneers, finishing the game with six catches for 82 yards and a touchdown. His performance was a silver lining in a close defeat for Tampa Bay. Falcons somehow get the win with Bijan just deciding not to play…

Cleveland Browns 39, Indianapolis Colts 38

One of the highest scoring games of the year somehow, saw Deshaun Watson leave early due to an injury, not sure if he was injured or just bad. So, P.J. Walker had to step in. On the Colts' side, Jonathan Taylor continued his impressive form, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown.

New York Giants 14, Washington Commanders 7

Dexter Lawrence of the Giants had a standout performance, finishing the game with six tackles, two sacks, and four QB hits, proving pivotal in their win against the Commanders.

Chicago Bears 30, Las Vegas Raiders 12

While Raiders' rookie tight end Michael Mayer showed promise, it was the Bears' rookie wide receiver Tyler Scott who caught attention with his solid separation and two receptions for 19 yards. No Fields no problem.

Pittsburgh Steelers 24, Los Angeles Rams 17

Diontae Johnson made a notable return from injury, finishing second in receiving yards for the Steelers. George Pickens has his second 100 yard game in a row finishing with 107 yards. Kupp finally slowed down being held to only 29 yards in the win.

Seattle Seahawks 20, Arizona Cardinals 10

The Seahawks' defense was the highlight, restricting the Cardinals to just 150 yards passing. Darrell Taylor added 1.5 sacks, marking a strong defensive performance for Seattle.

Denver Broncos 19, Green Bay Packers 17

Despite the loss, the Packers' rookie skill players made significant plays. Jayden Reed's touchdown catch was a highlight, showcasing the potential of Green Bay's young talents. The Broncos for some reason deciding not to tank.

Kansas City Chiefs 31, Los Angeles Chargers 17

Josh Palmer of the Chargers had an impressive game with five receptions for 133 yards, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Chiefs who secured a comfortable win. And if you took the over of 48.5 total points…I’m sorry.

Philadelphia Eagles 31, Miami Dolphins 17

Jerome Baker of the Dolphins made a significant impact with an interception returned for a touchdown, but the Eagles proved too strong, taking the win with a 14-point margin.

Minnesota Vikings 22, San Francisco 49ers 17

The match was closely contested, with the Vikings managing to outlast the 49ers, thanks in part to two touchdowns from Cousins to Addison and two crucial late interceptions by Bynum. This result marked the 49ers' second consecutive loss.

Fantasy Football Best Performances

Travis Kelce - 35.90 points

  • Delivering an exceptional performance for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers. He recorded a remarkable 12 catches for 179 yards on just 13 targets and found the end zone for a touchdown. And yeah Taylor Swift was there.

AJ Brown - 29.70 points

  • A.J. Brown had a stellar performance for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Miami Dolphins. He recorded an impressive 10 receptions for 137 yards and found the end zone for a touchdown. With now his 5th 100 yard game in a row just dominating. Really wish I drafted him in my league.

Lamar Jackson - 32.88 points

  • Lamar with a masterclass performance for the Baltimore Ravens against the Detroit Lions. He passed for an impressive 357 yards, throwing three touchdowns, and also rushed for another score. Jackson's near-flawless display was instrumental in the Ravens' dominant 38-6 victory over the Lions, with starting off the game 28-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

Fantasy Football Biggest Busts of The Week

Austin Ekeler - 5.60 points

  • Very quiet game overall for Austin Ekeler. He had 14 carries and was still able to get 45 yards which isn’t terrible. But his catching and yards after catch is what really makes him shine and he was only able to get 1 catch for 1 yard yesterday. Fantasy managers that have Austin are probably pretty frustrated with his performances so far and missing 4 weeks of the fantasy football season so far.

Raheem Mostert - 6.10 points

  • After coming off an impressive week of 34.20 fantasy points and 3 touchdowns, Mustards performance this week was quite the let down. Getting only 9 carries and 1 catch with no touchdowns. Of course I had both Ekeler and Mostert on my fantasy team…

Bijan Robinson - 0.30 points

  • So apparently Bijan got sick right before or at the start of the game and sat out almost the whole game. No one really knew what was going on during this and I assumed he got cut. Finally news came out about his illness and that was the reason he wasn’t playing. For some reason he came in randomly and got one carry for 3 yards. If you started him this week thinking he was gonna drop 20 I’m sorry he had a tummy issue.
